Counting to Three: Working Together for a Better World (ID #001)
Date: 9/5/2008 to 9/11/2008
Duration: 1 week
Host: Kern Beare
Topic(s): 1
Overview:
We humans share a common home and a common destiny. This gives us a powerful incentive to work together to build a world that works for all life.
Beyond a shared vision of a better world, however, we may also benefit from a commonly held set of principles that help create the conditions for creative cooperation.
These principles, to have value, must honor both our common humanity and the beauty and strength of our diversity.
In this conversation we explore three principles that may serve this purpose. These are to be present, authentic, and inclusive.

1. Introduce yourself to the other participants and share what draws you to this conversation.
2. Throughout the week, find time to watch the following 3 short video meditations (you may want to watch one each night for three nights):
3. After watching the videos, ponder what you heard, saw, thought and felt. Then share what you feel comfortable with in this conversation.
