Overview:
Google's Project 10 to the Hundreth is a "call for ideas to change the world by helping as many people as possible." So let's begin by helping as many people as possible submit their ideas. Time is short - the submission deadline is October 20, 2008.
The focus for this conversation space is to help each other bring forth as many ideas as possible and use our collective and collaborative energies to make them the best ideas possible. The more ideas the better. You may even be inspired to champion an idea yourself and find others who want to make it happen.
Google is looking for ideas with:
- Reach: How many people would this idea affect?
- Depth: How deeply are people impacted? How urgent is the need?
- Attainability: Can this idea be implemented within a year or two?
- Efficiency: How simple and cost-effective is your idea?
- Longevity: How long will the idea's impact last?
Space for each idea category is available under a separate "topic". Select your area of interest from the Topic drop-down menu.
This conversation will appeal to you if:
- You don't have a specific idea right now and want to contribute your energy to helping others
- You are interested in a specific area and want to collaborate on creating specific ideas
- You have a specific idea you've been itching to implement and would like help expanding or refining it
Remember to see the merit in all ideas and focus on how to make ideas work. This is not about trying to agree on one single idea ... the more ideas the better.
