The first week we'll address some basic questions concerning the concept of an enemy.
|
- Please introduce yourself to the group
- How would you define an "enemy"?
- What do you think makes someone our enemy?
- Do you think it is important to be willing to talk to one's enemy? Why or why not?
- Often we disagree with people on issues that are important to us. And while we may not consider those people our "enemy," we may avoid the topic when we are around them, or avoid a relationship with them altogether.
Do you think it is important to be willing to talk to and understand people that we disagree with? Why or why not?
- What are your thoughts about the following statement: "If I have an unresolved conflict with someone, I have an enemy."
