Dr. Joyce Kovelman is married and the mother of four grown children and grandmother of two. She holds a Ph.D. in Anatomy as well as a Ph.D. in Psychology. Joyce also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and has taught in the Medical School at U.C.L.A. Presently, she practices psychology in Chatsworth, California. Well respected amongst friends and professional peers alike she provides workshops,  writes books, performs research,  and  appears on TV and radio.
